Simroe, Ted - 8'6" 3/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a Ted Simroe 8'6" 3/2 5wt bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Lightly tempered cane with 3x3 nodes and bright guides. Wraps are transparent honey with oxblood tipping. Bright ferrules fit perfectly and were recently all reset/rewrapped by Glenn Brackett. Sections are full length, straight & serialized (#688). Strap & ring hook keeper, nickel silver winding check and 6.5" cork grip (smooth & soiled). Up-locking aluminum reel seat over a beautiful burl spacer. Weight is 5.40oz. Action on the medium side of medium fast, I think it is best with a WF5. A nice 3pc trout rod, firmly set in the Catskill tradition. Sold in the original bag and tube.
