For sale here is a C.W. Jenkins model GA70L, 7' 2/2 bamboo rod in excellent used condition. Golden straw colored cane with oxidized snake guides and blued ferrules. Chestnut wraps with yellow gold tipping, and the tips are marked for ease of rotation. Each section is straight, full length and serialized (#29), and the Swiss-style ferrules fit perfectly. Bent loop hook keeper, nickel silver checks, and the 6" grip is smooth & slightly soiled. Cap & ring reel seat over fine wood spacer. The pocketed butt cap reads "The Jenkins Rod" at the base. Weight is 3.31oz. Medium/medium-fast progressive action, I like it with a DT4 although some may prefer it with a heavier 3wt line. A fairly early Jenkins rod, well cared for and ready for service.
