For sale here is a SF-era Scott G90-4, 9' 2-piece 4wt graphite rod in excellent+ original condition. One of Scott's finest graphite tapers, and one of the best graphite 4wt's ever produced, this is a fantastic example. Unsanded gray blank with bright guides wrapped in dark red windings and white accents. The guides are double wrapped at the feet and the ferrules are reinforced & witness marked. The spigot ferrules fit perfectly with ~1/4" gap to allow for wear. U-shaped hook keeper with the original owners name scripted above. 6.8" cork grip shows minor soiling but is smooth, and the varnished cork winding check has a shallow 1/4" chip. Nickel silver cap & ring reel seat over mortised wood spacer. The G904 was introduced in 1976 and was almost a signature model for Scott, still sought out by anglers and collectors today, and for good reason. A wonderful 4 weight, I like it with both a DT and WF. Sold in original bag and powder coated Scott PowR-Ply tube.
