For sale here is a Scott G885, 8'8" 3pc graphite rod, made for a 5wt line. Very good used condition, with minor soiling to the grip and a few scuffs and scratches from use. Made in Telluride CO in the early/mid 1990's, this rod features an unsanded gray blank with dark red windings and white accents. Each section is serialized (43009). Spigot ferrules fit perfectly with ~1/4" gap to allow for wear over time. Ferrules are reinforced and have red witness marks for ease of alignment. U shaped hook keeper, western style cork grip with up-locking black anodized reel seat over dark wood spacer. Scott was one of the pioneers of early graphite fly rods, and the G-series rods are held in high esteem for good reason. Sold with original sock and tube with faded data sticker.
